Dr. Aekkachai Nittayagasetwat

Aekkachai Nittayagasetwat, Ph.D., FRM is an Associate Professor of Finance at NIDA Business School, National Institute of Development Administration, Bangkok. He has served in numerous leadership roles in academia and corporate governance, including Dean of NIDA Business School, University Council member at Kasem Bundit University, and board and audit committee chairmanships at leading Thai public companies such as UAC Global, Getabec, and S.P.S. Intertech.
He holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Technology from Chulalongkorn University, an MBA in Finance from NIDA, and a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Mississippi. He is also a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and graduate of several executive leadership programs, including the Wharton–NIDA Executive Leadership Program.
His professional experience spans academia, risk management, investment banking, and financial consulting. Recognized for his contributions, he was honored as “Outstanding NIDA Business School Alumni” and “Good Citizen of Thai Society in Education Management.”
